In February 2025, several regulations were published in the Official Journal of the European Union amending Annexes II and III of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 on maximum residue levels (MRLs) of pesticides in or on food and feed of plant and animal origin.
These include inter alia amendments regarding maximum residue levels (MRLs) of acetamiprid and fenbuconazole:
- the amendments of MRLs of acetamiprid according to Commission Regulation (EU) 2025/158 apply from 19 August 2025,
- the amendments of MRLs of fenbuconazole according to Commission Regulation (EU) 2025/195 apply from 24 August 2025.
